The Sevenoaks Decorative and Fine Arts Society became the 41st Society to be registered in 1972 and today we have a membership of over 340 and maintain an active and friendly Society. We organise lectures, outings, study days and study tours for our members and provide a focus locally for people to share and enjoy an interest in the arts.
We encourage the same interests in young people through an award scheme and annual lecture at a local school. The heritage of one of our historic churches is being recorded by a group of church recorders and we have members involved in a conservation project at Rochester Cathedral. We also have members undertaking book restoration at Lullingstone Castle.
We welcome new members.
We meet for lectures on the second Thursday of the month, (except August and September) at 8.15pm.
